Soprano ICE Platinum

Laser hair removal

Dermanaissance now offers sweeping laser hair removal services with the brand-new SOPRANO ICE. This new laser, specifically designed for permanent hair removal, delivers optimal results with a minimal number of treatments and maximum comfort.

The laser performs a continuous sweeping motion, allowing large areas to be treated in a very short amount of time. Its high precision also enables the treatment of small areas such as the inside of the ears and nostrils, as well as around the eyebrows.

Soprano ICE Platinum

The Soprano Ice Platinum LASER is specifically designed to be the most efficient and comfortable equipment for permanent hair removal. Its treatment head features a laser that operates in continuous sweep mode, ensuring the best results and maximum comfort. Treatments are virtually painless and very quick, even for large areas.

Comfortable

Is the treatment painful?

The sweeping laser with the Soprano Ice is virtually painless. The sensation felt is a mild warmth. On the bikini or armpits, it may pinch a little during the first treatments when the hair is thicker. People who have had traditional laser treatments before tell us that it’s really night and day in terms of comfort.

Make sure to choose the Soprano Ice and not the first-generation Soprano. The Soprano Ice gets its name from the addition of a highly efficient cooler that provides unmatched comfort during treatments and allows for higher intensities to achieve better results.

Frequently asked questions about laser hair removal

We recommend between 8 and 12 sessions. Hair is eliminated more quickly in some areas than others. Be cautious of advertisements claiming that all hair is removed after just 4 to 6 sessions because, in some areas of the body, hair can take up to 18 months to grow. It is therefore impossible to destroy all the hair in such a short time since they need to grow and be in the right phase of the hair growth cycle to be effectively targeted. At Dermanaissance, when you purchase an 8-session package, you receive your 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th treatments at 50% off if you need additional sessions on certain areas.

Laser hair removal reduces hair growth by about 80% to 90% after 8 to 12 sessions. No laser removes 100% of the hair. The only technology that does so is electrolysis. However, since electrolysis treats hair by hair, the sessions are very long. Since treatments need to be done every 2 weeks over a period of about 2 years, laser hair removal becomes more economical and faster. You can finish off the remaining hair with electrolysis if needed. The remaining hairs are much finer and lighter than before, and since they grow back after several weeks, most people say they no longer bother them. Additionally, electrolysis treatments require the hair to be regrown. This means you need to let the hair grow, even during summer or vacation, while with laser treatments, you can shave without issue.

Generally, candidates with blonde or red hair are not good candidates for laser hair removal. In rare cases, there may be enough pigment in their hair to achieve results. However, one should expect to need more treatments and to obtain less optimal results. Dermanaissance offers a 50% trial to see if you respond to the treatment.

You can shave between treatments as the laser targets the hair at the bulb level, not at the hair growth level. Therefore, you should shave before each session, and you can shave as often as you like.

Yes, it’s normal because you are entering the hair synchronization phase. This means that at this point, most of the hairs are growing at the same time.

The sweeping laser is very safe, so there is no problem with having treatments in the summer on tanned skin. Just avoid sun exposure 2 days before and 2 days after the treatment to prevent sunburn on the treated area.

There are no real side effects, except for a possible slight redness that will fade within an hour. For those prone to ingrown hairs, we recommend using an exfoliant and a post-treatment gel.

It is important to remove dead skin from the treated area 24 to 48 hours before the treatment, and to have well-hydrated skin with the area properly shaved. Do not apply moisturizer on the day of the treatment, and avoid using deodorant if you are treating your underarms. If you are taking any medication, including antibiotics, make sure to check if they are photosensitizing 48 hours before your appointment to avoid cancellation fees.
