Dilated pores

Without pores, our skin wouldn’t be able to breathe. These micro-openings are essential for expelling sebum, sweat, and dead skin cells. However, it is possible for pores to become clogged, leading to dilation. This phenomenon encourages the appearance of blackheads and pimples.

Combination of technologies

Dilated pores

Skin imperfections like enlarged pores are common in both men and women, but they tend to appear more on oily skin. Enlarged pores are a result of the skin’s genetic structure and disrupt the harmony of the face, which is why they are often associated with self-esteem issues. Today, beauty standards promoted by social media amplify this phenomenon. Dermanaissance offers a variety of solutions that can help you achieve a smooth and healthy-looking complexion.

Technology

Viora V30 IPL Photorejuvenation

By using intense pulsed light (IPL), we can treat skin issues by targeting specific tissues or components within it. This technology allows us to offer a variety of treatments, including reducing redness, acne, pigmentation spots, and providing an effective solution for photo-rejuvenation. Different treatments can be performed on each tissue depending on the wavelength used, so IPL has a broad range of applications. With this technology, we can deliver visible results in a very short time.

Technology

Microdermabrasion

As an entry-level treatment in specialized aesthetics, microdermabrasion is an excellent choice. A diamond-tipped micro-needle is used to perform a deep exfoliation. In this procedure, the superficial layers of the skin are removed through abrasion. Any redness typically fades within an hour after the treatment. This technique is painless and leaves no marks on the face. By oxygenating and renewing the surface of your skin, you can reduce wrinkles and fine lines, enlarged pores, and pigmentation spots, thus enhancing your skin’s radiance.

Technology

Viora V30 Radiofrequency (V-ST)

Viora V-ST uses bipolar radiofrequency technology to firm the skin. The patented multifrequency radiofrequency technology is exclusive to Viora. Thanks to its multifrequency, this device is able to target different skin depths with unmatched precision to maximize results safely. Radiofrequency stimulates the skin to generate new collagen and elastin. As a result, wrinkles are reduced or eliminated, and connective tissue is lifted. Viora, known for its research and constant drive to advance the specialized aesthetics industry, has recently developed a new protocol for vulvar lip correction. This demonstrates that there is no procedure too difficult in our field.

Frequently asked questions about dilated pores treatment

Pores are small openings that allow our skin to breathe, and they also determine its structure. Sometimes, these can become clogged and may dilate.

To the small openings of the skin; To the hair follicles; to which the following glands are attached:

  • Sweat glands (which produce sweat)
  • Sebaceous glands (which secrete sebum)

Generally, pores dilate due to oily skin. This phenomenon is most often observed during adolescence. Indeed, sebaceous glands, stimulated by hormonal changes, produce more sebum during puberty. Other factors may also be involved:

  • Blackheads and/or acne
  • Sun and UV rays
  • Pollution and other impurities
  • Hormonal changes (puberty or menopause)
  • Genetics
  • Poor lifestyle habits (diet, makeup, tobacco, etc.)
  • Skin laxity

Although there are several solutions aimed at cleansing the skin to prevent it from becoming too oily, only clinical treatments can deeply treat dilated pores and restore an even skin texture.
